Homework: Study for test. Make sure that you know all the vocabulary. Don't just memorize the definitions, but be able to "apply" it. Ex: Which of these religions is "polytheistic"? Polytheistic was the vocabulary word and from that you know that Hindu is the answer.

Session 14: The Lorax (HEI)
- Literary Elements w/ the Lorax: Cause/Effect relationships, author's purpose, character traits
- Lorax in-class hand-out in case you were absent.
- Environmental Problem/Solution Board Due-Session 20
- Board Guidelines: Students will research and explain a current environmental issues and then present afeasible solution. For both the problem and solution, they must include a visual on their board with a caption explaining its relevance to either the problem or the solution. Students should also include a text box explaining why they chose this environmental problem.
- Any student who needs access to a computer to generate their HEI board should see me next week and I will make arrangements to either come in early or late or get them access during enrichment.
